Lahore Bloggers Meet on November 23
What started off as a really small 20 person event at LUMS has grown into something more than 100 attendees overnight… literally! LUMS IEEE Students Chapter (in collaboration with CIO Pakistan & Google Pakistan) present the Lahore Bloggers meet on November 23, 2008. How did the explosion of so many confirmed attendees happen? Well, Badar Khushnood, Country Consultant for Google in Pakistan set up a Facebook Group for the event and everyone pooled their online resources and networks to spread the word. A few minutes after the event was announced, there were already 30 confirmed people attending. At this point in time, there are 82 people who have confirmed their attendance with another 67 who might make it there.
Since this IS blogging at its best, keep checking up the Facebook group for live blogging, tweeting and any other updates that the bloggers will be able to make. If you want to know about the red carpet of blogging in Pakistan, this is the event you need to follow!
