Where Do Our CIOs Stand?

We interviewed a 100 CIOs and IT Heads across various industries in Pakistan and here’s what we came up with. You can preview the PDF of our December 2008 Cover Story, but we’d like you to share your insights as to the accuracy or relevance of the data we have collected.

In addition to the survey, we also featured 5 CIOs from various industries who spoke about the challenges and growth prospects within their own sectors. These included Greenstar Social Marketing (NGO), PIA (Airline), SECP (Finance), Gul Ahmed (Textile) and SSGC (Oil and Gas). We are very thankful to each CIO and IT department head who took the time to participate in our survey.

Did any of the results surprise you? Was this what you were expecting as far as the local industries are concerned? What was your reaction and feedback to the survey? Since this is an ongoing process, the more feedback we gather from the industry, the better we can serve the growth of the industry.
