Due a reporting error, the second paragraph of the story “UK declines to prosecute hacker wanted in US” posted Thursday is inaccurate. The second paragraph should be deleted. The third paragraph should add McKinnon’s first name, Gary. The story has been fixed on the wire, and the third paragraph should read:
