Hello and welcome to another issue of CMO, from CIO Pakistan!
With the continuing environment of economic slowdown, it will be very interesting to see whether big brands and companies will cut resources behind marketing and specifically media. It’s too early to tell so far in this year, but it will make for some addictive viewing. Despite the potential for lower media spends, the onus of marketing has been shifting from one media towards many media in recent times. This 360 degree approach is one area that we look at in this issue, and we talk about the key look-outs in designing and executing a 360 campaign for a brand.
In this issue we also have the pleasure of talking to a number of women in technology marketing, and to understand how their leadership drives their business and the roles they play in ensuring effective communication strategies. As always, we don’t forget the digital aspect of marketing, and in particular, have a look-see at how the mysterious search engine optimization can take place!
