MITEF 2009: Corporate Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE 2009)

[November 13 '09: Karachi, Pakistan] MITEF – MIT Enterprise Forum held a conference on “Competing Globally in the New World Order through Innovation and Entrepreneurial Culture” as a part of the Corporate Innovation & Entrepreneurship struggle.

The conference highlighted points leading towards corporate innovation and entrepreneurship in a company, focusing on innovation, entrepreneurial strategy, acceptance and beneficial change across organizations.

The conference also focused on the importance of innovation and entrepreneurial culture for any company and why should it be the centre of their business strategy as well as its affects on the corporate sector.

Its main focus was on how Pakistani corporate sector can compete in the new world order with innovation and a corporate strategy where entrepreneurial culture is engrained in the organization and the need for retaining the top level employees in the company.

The speakers at the conference where Mr. Kenneth P. Morse – founding Manager Director MIT Entrepreneurship Centre, Mr. Imran Saeed – VP Keane Inc. , USA , Mr. Zubair A. Faiz – Executive Director- Information Technology Group HCSC and few others.

The event was supported by CIO Pakistan and was mainly focused on how continuous innovation and entrepreneurial culture can be achieved in the local ecosystem.
