Emerson Network Power Appoints New Technical and Enterprise Sales Leader for Asia

Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE:EMR) and the global leader in enabling Business-Critical Continuity™, has appointed Jeffry Toon as director of enterprise sales in Asia. Jeffry also serves as the director of data center architecture for strategic accounts in the region.

Under his new role, Toon is in-charge of Emerson Network Power sales activities in key regional markets including Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, South Korea, Japan and Pakistan.

Toon will work closely with Emerson Network Power management and local teams to further improve the customer engagement process to ensure delivery of quality data centre support environments. He will also be conducting technical site surveys, technical forums and sharing sessions and overseeing other customers’ engagement activities undertaken by the regional support staff.

“Emerson Network Power’s strong R&D capabilities ensure that its products and solutions can fully address current power, cooling and monitoring issues in the data centre space,” said Toon. “Customers from different market verticals have product and service requirements that are very specific to their industry segments. Current data centre support requirements vary from conventional IT to data centre virtualization support capabilities. The increasing global demand for a flexible, adaptable and scalable model to address the high heat load density in data centers now calls for cloud computing in a unified infrastructure support environment.”

Toon has over 22 years of experience in the IT and Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) industry. He has worked with Quantum M&E Services Ltd, Meinhardt Singapore Pte Ltd and most recently with Hewlett Packard Singapore as their data center services small and midsize enterprise (SME) consultant. He holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the National University of Singapore and is currently based in Singapore.
