Oracle Hosts CIO Executive Dinner Discussion on ‘Your Roadmap to the Future’ in Lahore

The last leg of the CIO Executive Dinner Discussion hosted by Oracle took place during Iftar in Lahore at the Royal Palm Country Club Dome Hall on the 27th August, 2010. As with Karachi and Islamabad, the roundtable seating under the Dome was filled with IT heads and CIOs who had insights to share about what their roadmap was like over the course of the next 2 years.

Unlike the discussion in Karachi, Lahore businesses were more attuned to and impacted by the devastation as a result of the floods and most companies were forced to rethink their business strategies in the long run. Supply chain and Accountability of systems were the two areas of discussion that were addressed the most and since there were a also a number of companies that were depended on the agro-economy, some interesting insights on the rate of adoption for ERPs and technology solutions were also shared.
