Bridging The Move To Cloud? Count Me In!

Looking up to the good things in life, it doesn’t always take a lifetime for the lucky star to shine down on one. And it gets only better when the good comes your way without a bumper sticker. At least, that is what the winners to a lucky draw contest held for the participants to a survey floated by CIO Pakistan Business Division, CXO Research Services had to say.

Requiring as little as 3 minutes of the respondent’s time, ‘Bridging The Move To Cloud’ was a survey recently posted for a discussion on CIO Pakistan’s homepage, and at the CIO Pakistan LinkedIn Group. Previously run surveys by CXO Research Services have included ‘IT-Related Hiring: What Is The Future Like For CS Grads of Today?’, ‘Trends In Online Media’, and ‘State of The CIO 2011′ amongst others.

Within as little as a week and a half, ‘Bridging The Move To Cloud’ managed to gain an input from over a hundred respondents indicating a willingness within the local IT Community to move onto cloud. The response rate also suggested a pro-research orientation of many industry professionals despite it being nascent.

In an attempt to give back to an active community of participants, CXO Research Services carried out a lucky draw, and announced two winners. These included Faisal Hussain from Cupola Pakistan awarded with a Sony DVD Player and Muhammad Adil from Hellmann gifted with a Sony Media Player.
