Ahmed Allauddin, MD & CEO of MillSoft Passes Away
I was saddened to receive the news that an outstanding member of Pakistan’s ICT community passed away this morning. Ahmed Allauddin, the MD and CEO of Millennium Soft, was also the former President of the Computer Society of Pakistan and was always a strong and positive ambassador of the local software industry. Personally speaking, when we started off our careers in Technology Media Publishing and went around the industry meeting people and professionals who ultimately became our mentors helping shape our business into what it is today, Ahmed Allauddin sahib was one of those earlier meetings we had.
Allauddin sahib started his own career as Project Analyst at the UBL Computer Division and worked his way upto Senior Vice President/D.P. Manager before taking early retirement in 2001. He completed his MBA from IBA in 1989 and his BE in Engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology in 1970.
Ahmed Allauddin shall be missed.
