A Step towards Empowering the ICT Industry of Pakistan

In an attempt to understand how our analog lives have molded to adjust to the digital age, it is necessary to examine the role of Information and Communication Technologies in uplifting the economy and setting social trends.  ICT Global 2012 is being held in Lahore from January 7-9, 2012, to provide a platform of opportunities for the various verticals existing in Pakistan’s local industry… an opportunity base on nine different platforms to interact with the thought leaders, decision-makers, and stake holders as well as provide a range of services and specialized solutions. With the support of Pakistan Telecommunication Authority, PEMRA & SAMENA Telecom Council a TMT South Asian Summit with the theme of “TMT Trends – Opportunities & Challenges” shall take off on January 8, 2012 at the Lahore International Expo Centre, Pakistan.

Opportunities and challenges linked with technological advancements will be highlighted at the TMT South Asian Summit. It shall serve as a platform for members of the industry including Investors, Regulators, Operators, Researchers & Technology providers to engage in dialogue in order to facilitate the decision makers as they unfold the emerging trends of the industry. C-levels from sectors including communication, broadcast companies, data operators and Government personnel will come together for knowledge sharing and exchange of views with regard to current and future trends of the industry.
