There are more than 50 ISPs operating in different parts of the country and a lot of them have blocked the websites within the given deadline. The ISPs have stated that PTCL has violated the rules and regulations by not blocking such website even after a month of the order passed. In fact PTCL has attracted the subscribers “unfiltered DSL internet connection” marketing campaign. Etisalat, the owner of PTCL, has blocked immoral websites in most of the operating countries such as UAE, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Egypt, Sudan, Nigeria, and Afghanistan. However, it has not passed such orders in Pakistan, where adult content websites are also not supported.
