KCCI Holds A Seminar for the ICT Industry
A Joint Seminar on ICT Applications in Pakistan for the benefit of business, the industry and the masses, is being organized by the Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry along with ICT R&D Fund at KCCI, on Thursday, 26th January, 2012 from 11:00 am to 01:30 pm.
Focusing on the local business industry and its growth, KCCI seeks to promote ICT applications and form a Joint Commission of KCCI-National ICT R&D FUND.
This collaborative effort aims to create awareness of the importance of the ICT Industry amongst stakeholders and also improve the ICT academic facilities.
Through this, KCCI seeks to identify ways to facilitate local business organizations, industries and academic institutions in order to increase the usage of ICT in the traditional processes.
The seminar which will host two panel discussions that would highlight the role of ICTs in various sectors including Banking, Insurance, Health, Education, SMEs, R&D and others.
We’ll be following up on this, with details on the discussion that took place at the KCCI Joint Seminar on ICT Applications.
